Description
Creatine with superior solubility for optimal training performance
Creatine is part of the creatine phosphate system and is an essential substrate for muscular energy production. While it is also found in larger quantities in foods such as red meat, this is not enough to fully replenish muscular creatine stores. Additional supplementation provides a solution.
The benefit: Increased explosive power and the ability to handle heavier loads during training for longer periods. This allows you to create better growth stimuli and enhance muscle hypertrophy. Furthermore, it has neuroprotective properties (offering some protection against conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s), supports cell membranes, and can even have mild antidepressant effects in women.
It is also one of the most thoroughly researched dietary supplements and has no adverse effects. It does not cause extracellular water retention, nor does it damage the heart or kidneys, nor does it cause erectile dysfunction. Your “natural” status won’t be affected. Likewise, no loading phase or intake directly before/after workouts is necessary. Since creatine first needs to build up stores in the muscle (approximately 1-2 weeks of continuous intake), there’s no immediate effect from creatine.
A loading phase, as was often promoted in the past, is also unnecessary (unless you’re determined to spend more money than necessary). If you happen to forget to take it, that’s not a problem either, as these stores can take up to a week to deplete. A creatine cycle is also not required. This stuff isn’t a steroid; you can take it continuously without worrying about any adverse effects.
It’s also not necessary to take creatine with carbohydrates; it easily reaches the muscle even without insulin. The recommended daily dose is 3-5g, for example, in water or as part of your shake.
If you forget to take it, that’s fine, as it can be absorbed into the muscle without insulin. Myths about Creatine
Creatine and Caffeine
Creatine draws water into the muscles, and caffeine is dehydrating. That’s why people used to say that caffeine draws water out of creatine. BULLSHIT! People used to say the earth was flat, too.
Creatine and Kidney Damage
Creatine binds water, so you should drink plenty of fluids, otherwise your kidneys will be strained. You should definitely drink plenty of fluids. Kidney strain has never been proven. Again, this is bullshit!
Creatine and Water Retention
If you take 5g every day, you won’t have any water retention, except for the water inside your muscles, which is why you take our Core Creatine.
Creatine and Diarrhea
…only occurs if you take too much creatine. At 5g a day, you’re absolutely safe.
Creatine and the Loading Phase
There isn’t one. Take 5g every day. After 7-10 days, you’ll gradually notice your muscles becoming fuller and you’ll have more strength and endurance. If you use a loading phase, as previously recommended, you take 20-50g a day instead of 5g… While you’ll start seeing results after 3-5 days, you’ll also experience side effects such as diarrhea, stomach pain, and possibly acne. Furthermore, you’ll be using 5-10 times the amount of creatine and won’t have any more muscle mass at the end of the day than with a continuous intake of 5g.
Creatine and Stopping
Nonsense! Just take 5g of creatine until the end of your days… Done!
